To post the word “Jesus” on its own is particularly strange, in that there’s absolutely no context. But to do it twice, on both the front and back of her sign in two different fonts and colors, is even more peculiar.

What about Jesus?! Do you love and worship him? Did he bake a great pie? Did he forget to pay the gas bill? Did he take first prize at the Great American Beer Awards for his JC Harvest Ale? Context, Woman! Context!

It was gonna’ be another crazy summer. Paul just got a job bussing tables at Big Josiah’s Diner, and Dad wouldn’t buy me that new donkey to ride into town. I was tired of hoofing it on Saturday nights.
